The Communication Profile Gateway is your direct command center to purchase, assign, review and present profile assessments for your clients and prospects. How To Get Started If you've not tried using the system before, you are eligible to receive two complementary code credits. Simply click through to purchase codes, complete your contact information on the order form and then click "Activate New User Offer" to retrieve them. Once complete, return to the CP Gateway and click the refresh button at the bottom of the screen. You should now see your new credits and be able to click the "+" button to assign them. Pro-level subscribers enjoy unlimited profile code access as well as the ability to utilize marketing codes for profile generation. Desktop-level subscribers may still purchase individual code credits by clicking on the purple "remaining credits" number (Hint: it will be 0 until you purchase some.) Video Training Click the on-screen training "V" button to watch a two-part video. The first section of the video training contains a walk-through of the CP Gateway interface, purchasing code credits and managing your CP server options. The second part of the video training explains what to look for in the completed profile and how that information can be leveraged to help you and your clients. Hint: If you want go directly to the training on interpreting the profile results, navigate to the 1-page summary screen and then click the "V" on-screen training button. Basic CP Workflow •Assign a new assessment to a client/prospect by clicking the [+] button (below bottom left corner of list area) and filling in the name, gender and email address fields. You may also assign a marketing code which will not be shown to the client, but can be displayed in the assignment list for sorting/grouping purposes. Click [Assign & Email] to send the assessment invitation email to the client. Note: you must either have an active CP subscription or available code credits in order to generate new assignments - otherwise the [+] will not be displayed. •Track progress of the invitation and report completion using the assignment list. Invitation and Report Delivery messages are automatically tracked using a sophisticated outgoing mail system which reports the following significant delivery milestones:
Each of these message notifications will update the associated action icons so you can see delivery status at-a-glance. If the action icon has no status adorner (play, person, checkmark, alert) then no server-based email action was initiated for that assessment. •When the assessment is complete, the CP gateway automatically update the profile list and download the completed report from the server. You may then review and/or present the findings. Using your own email program/server You have the option to send your invitation email messages through your own email system. To do so, simply click the "Paperclip" icon to copy the assessment link information to your windows clipboard. Then paste the link information into any message/system you choose. Besides the tracking capabilities, there is nothing special about the CP server sending the message, and there is certainly no requirement to use it. Setting Options You have the ability to customize and brand the client experience. Click the [Options] button (bottom center of screen) to launch a web-based server option control panel. From there you can enable/disable server-side features, customize the invitation and report delivery email templates and brand/customize the CP report cover page. If you have additional questions or need help with these settings, please contact our support team. Reassigning Unused Assessments Experience has shown that not every client or prospect will complete the assessment. Fortunately, when this happens, you may reassign the assessment to a new client/prospect by simply updating the name, email and gender and sending an invitation out to the new respondent. The assessment code remains "open" until it is used to generate a completed report. Hiding(Removing) Older Profile Reports Over time, the gateway profile assignment list can get long and those older profiles can "get in the way" of assignments you're interested in tracking. To overcome this, you have the ability to mark individual profiles as "hidden" and the server will not return those profiles when the gateway and server sync. Click the column chooser (upper left corner of assignment list) and activate the "Hide" column so it's visible. Next, activate the checkbox for each profile you want to "hide". The next time the list refreshes (every couple minutes) the hidden profiles will disappear from the gateway list. Naturally, the next question is... how do I get a hidden profile back? It's easy. Click the [Options] button to modify your server-based options. One of the first few server options is "Show 'Hidden' Profiles in CP Gateway". Check the box for that option and click [Submit Changes]. The next time your gateway refreshes you'll see ALL your profiles - even the ones you've hidden. You can then use or unhide any profile ever assigned. When you're ready to hide profiles again, go back to the server options and uncheck the same box. |
