•When you see this picture, does it say anything to you? •You’re going to have a lot of money coming in over your lifetime. That’s why this tank is so big. However, there is no money sitting in there because you receive it over time as monthly cash flow. •Once received, it must first flow through the tax filter – where the government is in control of the portion it will take. •Then the natural flow of money is to go out through current lifestyle where it is consumed and gone forever. •That works okay as long as you remain fully employed, but if you plan to retire or cannot work, you’re going to need reserves to draw upon – otherwise, using such a “spend-it-all” strategy can lead to financial disaster. •The prudent person will have money come in and divert a portion up into the future lifestyle tanks. •So that by the time they retire, they have enough money stored in those two tanks that they can take distributions to satisfy their lifestyle needs and live in the future – just like they live today. •Position A is when you’re in a position to enjoy the same standard of living you enjoy during your working years throughout your retirement years, adjusted for inflation – without the fear of running out of money. •We can help you determine financially where you are today in relation to where you want to be in the future – and help you build a plan to get there.
